Raindrops

The Raindrops room is a thoughtfully designed space for babies aged 19 to 24 months, reflecting our commitment to nurturing early development. This newly created room provides a lovely and spacious environment that bridges the gap between babyhood and toddlerhood, allowing for a seamless transition. With a maximum of six children, each child is afforded the care and attention they need to explore and develop at their own pace. The layout fosters a sense of security, encouraging curious minds to engage with age-appropriate activities while building vital social skills in a warm, interactive setting.

Activities follow a planned curriculum to meet the developmental milestones of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS). Although these activities are planned in advance, this is subject to change as we follow the child led play guidance. This means that the children are free to lead their own play. Each activity is adapted to meet the needs and ability of each individual child and supported or extended accordingly. We also use the ‘In The Moment Planning’ method allowing the children to explore their imagination and boost their self-confidence by having their ideas and interests listened to and included in our play.
