Rainbows
Our room for babies aged 13 to 19 months is designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment with a maximum capacity of 9 children. Our dedicated staff is trained to support their development through engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and physical growth and we ensure that each child receives attentive care and personalized interaction. The space is equipped with age-appropriate toys and play areas to encourage exploration and learning, and is lovely and bright with plenty of windows to let in the light.
Activities follow a planned curriculum to meet the developmental milestones of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS). Although these activities are planned in advance, this is subject to change as we follow the child led play guidance. This means that the children are free to lead their own play. Each activity is adapted to meet the needs and ability of each individual child and supported or extended accordingly. We also use the ‘In The Moment Planning’ method allowing the children to explore their imagination and boost their self-confidence by having their ideas and interests listened to and included in our play.
